On these roads

Corvésy and the Palais de Justice, the two car parks closest to Vieux-Nice, are both capped at 1.90 m, which rules out most of what our network arranges. It does not rule out this one. The Cooper S Cabriolet is 178 hp, four seats, two bags and a fabric roof, handed over in Saint-Tropez, Cannes and Nice — the smallest card on a page of large ones, and the only one the town never argues with.

Be precise about what it does not buy. It does not beat the D559 on 15 August; nothing does, because the gulf has one way in and a roundabout at La Foux roughly 500 m by 300 m with a shopping centre inside it. Nor does it open the old town: the bollards on rue Allard, rue Gambetta and place Forbin close it from 16:00 to 03:00 from 1 July, entry by prior registration filed with supporting documents, and nobody talks their way through at the bollard whatever they are driving. What a small car buys is everything after that. Place du XVe Corps holds ninety spaces with two hours free. At Pampelonne, which is in Ramatuelle and runs on its own rules, the first half hour is always free, parking is free before 11:00 and after 17:00, and between 12:30 and 16:00 in July and August it costs €1.80 per half hour. Those are the numbers a week on the peninsula is actually made of.

So the honest brief. Two bags means a weekend for two, not a family's week — four people landing at Nice with a season's luggage arrive by transfer and take the keys at the address, and both sit on the same request. Handover is at street level at a point named before you book, and where an underground meeting suits the address better, this is one of the few cars in the network that fits the structures the tall cards cannot use: Suquet Forville at Cannes, 993 spaces at 1.90 m, and the two above at Nice. The partner who holds the car sets the contract. We settle where you meet it.

Delivery and handover

The car comes to you,
there is no counter.

  • Handover at your villa, hotel, terminal, heliport or berth.
  • We check garage entry heights against the car itself.
  • In winter, we ask how many pairs of skis travel.

Villa, hotel, airport, heliport, berth — you give us the address, we work out what it takes to put a car there. In Cannes that is the entry height of the garage. On the Rocher in Monaco, it is the number plate. We check before we confirm.

Frequent questions

What deposit is required?

It depends on the supplying partner, so we confirm the exact amount with your quote — before any commitment. It is held on a card at delivery and released on return once the car has been checked.

What are the age and licence requirements?

They are set by the supplying partner and vary with the car — they are stated in the written proposal before anything is confirmed, never discovered at handover. Foreign licences are accepted; outside the EU an official translation or international permit is required.

What mileage is included?

A daily allowance comes with every car; the exact figure and the price per extra kilometre are stated in your quote, before you book — never after.

Where is the car delivered?

Villa, hotel, berth, chalet, private aviation terminal or altiport. Tell us the exact location in your request — that is what lets us answer quickly.

How does insurance work?

The car is insured by the supplying partner. The excess is confirmed with your quote, before any commitment. We act as an intermediary.
